DMT Architects was founded in 2018 with the first private residential projects in Nicosia, Cyprus. Since then and to this day, the studio has been active in the construction sector throughout Cyprus.

The core philosophy of DMT’s architecture is the creation of projects that seamlessly integrate into Cyprus' landscape, taking into consideration both the island's history and its rich geography. The diversity of the Cypriot natural landscape and its characteristic interplay between mountains and the sea, serves as a significant source of inspiration, while the multicultural identity of the place is a key reference point.

A determining motivation in establishing the office is the notable lack of humanity that characterizes the island’s architecture. The rapidly growing urban development of the last decades has produced a large volume of tasteless, unattractive buildings that show little respect to their surroundings or to their users’ quality of life. Conversely, DMT Architects promotes humility, balance, precision and sustainability as fundamental values of architectural practice.

A primary priority during the creative process is to ensure that the final result meets the clients' proper needs. Attention is given to detail, while the design promotes practicality and sustainability over time, maintaining a high standard of aesthetic appeal. The creative approach involves designing projects as holistic compositions, ensuring coherence between interconnecting elements that highlights the harmonious balance of the project as a whole.

Through diverse collaborations over the years,the office has amassed significant experience in designing and successfully implementing a wide range of projects, spanning from small-scale product design to large-scale developments subject to high-quality standards.
